Beliefs About Money
I often feel as if I don’t have enough money to do what I need or want to do.
I have money saved but I believe money is scarce and is to be used cautiously.
I have enough money to take care of my needs and wants. I often think about ways to enhance what I am doing.
I believe money is abundant and we have enough to fulfill all of our goals along with helping those around us. I am often excited when I hear of ways to enhance my efforts.
Abundance Mindset With Money
You are not certain what abundance of money would feel like. There generally seems to be a lack of it in your every day life.
You respond to the "wisdom" of saving, but you seldom seem to have enough cash on hand for bigger ticket items.
You question the "wisdom" of putting money away that you can't use, but are unaware of an alternative.
You are ready to "change your thinking" because you believe there has to be a better way to gain more control of your money.
View of The Economy
I feel things are good with our economy and rely on our government to guide the economy and monetary policies.
I believe that everything in our economy is headed in the right direction and have no reason to believe that anything will negatively impact my personal economy.
I feel as though something just isn't right about our economy. I do not know what exactly will happen but I am concerned.
I believe that there are serious problems with our economy and feel that there are reasons to be concerned about the future of our country.
Cash Flow
You do not have a very good idea where your money is going and are not clear on how much you pay in taxes.
You have a general sense of where your money is going but nothing formally created on paper.
You have a working budget in place and stay true to it for the most part.
You have an awareness as to how much surplus cash you have each month after paying your regular monthly expenses.
Personal Relationships
You place great value on family & friends.
You maintain contact with family members, both in immediate and extended family.
Family and friends see you as a trusted resource and come to you in times of need.
You enjoy sharing, whatever significantly enhances your life, with your closest relationships.
Disciplined and Able to Follow a Process
When being honest with yourself, you realize that you struggle to stay disciplined.
You're not as disciplined as you'd like to be in some areas of life while being OK in other areas.
You know you'd like to be more disciplined in some of the more critical areas of your life, including money.
You know that you can make yourself stay focused and disciplined in the critical areas of success in your life.
Willing to Think Differently
You've always followed traditional thinking when it comes to money (Saving, Borrowing, Investing).
You've diversified your investments but rely on banks as a place to store and borrow money.
You've grown dissatisfied with low rates of return on bank savings accounts and unfavorable banking terms on loans.
You're ready to think differently regarding budgeting, saving and borrowing money b/c you feel there has to be better ways.
Inclined to be Trusting
You believe that institutions, such as our government and banks, are steering us in the right direction.
You believe what the TV/Radio "experts" recommend about money is accurate. After all, they are on TV/Radio....
You trust that things happen for a reason, but don't know how that applies to money because you never feel that you are able to get ahead.
You are open to conversations with financial professionals who can prove the legitimacy of their approach.
